CRP has been in business since 1980 when our founder, Carl R. Pursell, began looking for an opportunity to create financial independence for his family and any other family that was willing to fight alongside him for their financial freedom. Although CRP had simple beginnings as a small-time electrical contractor based out of a garage in Westmont, NJ, clients soon took notice of Carl’s tenacity, willingness and attention to detail. That led to rapid growth and made CRP a leading player in the industry.

During the first five years of its existence, CRP developed a more diverse group of clients and expanded its capabilities to offer building services of every kind. CRP continued to grow and excel through its commitment to building service-based relationships, and as the clientele increased, so did the number of contractors who wanted to work with a business that was committed to company integrity and financial accountability. An increasing number of subcontractors wanted to be involved in CRP’s work, so Carl decided to acquire a plumbing and concrete company under the Pursell name.
